Alaska Airlines has completed final inspections on our first group of 737-9 MAX aircraft as we move forward to return the fleet to commercial service. We’ll resume flying the 737-9 MAX with Flight 1146 from Seattle to San Diego on Friday afternoon, Jan 26.

ITA Airways has taken delivery of its first A321neo on lease from Air Lease Corporation from Airbus’ Hamburg production facilities.
Hong Kong’s Cathay Group has announced the purchase of an additional 32 Airbus A320neo Family aircraft as it continues to invest in expanding and modernising its fleet. The agreement doubles the Cathay Group’s total orders for the A320neo Family to 64, of which 13 have already been delivered.

Textron Aviation announced the recent delivery of the first passenger unit of the twin-engine, large-utility turboprop, the Cessna SkyCourier, for use by Western Aircraft, Inc., doing business in Hawaii as Lāna’i Air. The company offers luxury air service connecting Oahu to the island of Lāna’i.

German Airline Condor Flugdienst has taken delivery of its first A330-900 widebody aircraft out of an order of 16 A330neo aircraft. The A330neo will replace previous generation aircraft in their fleet to reduce Condor’s operating costs as well as fuel consumption and CO2 emissions by 25 percent.

A220 / Aibus
Iraqi Airways, the national carrier of Iraq, has taken delivery of its first out of five A220-300 aircraft from Mirabel, Canada. Upon entry into service, Iraqi Airways will become one of the first airlines to operate the A220 in the Middle East region.
Market-leading turboprop manufacturer ATR and Sky express, a fast growing airline in Greece, has signed a deal to acquire six ATR 72-600 aircraft, the first of which was delivered on June 30. This marks an important step in the airline’s fleet development plan which will see the further five ATR 72-600 joining its fleet over the next 12 months.
