Embraer Executive Jets delivered 53 Phenom 300 and Phenom 300E light jets in 2018, according to a report issued by the General Aviation Manufacturers Association (GAMA). This is the seventh consecutive year that the Phenom 300 achieves this mark, having accrued more than 490 deliveries since entering the market in December 2009.

Boeing and Bamboo Airways today confirmed an order for 10 787-9 Dreamliners valued at $3 billion according to list prices. The order for the super-efficient and longest-range member of the Dreamliner family was unveiled during a signing ceremony in Hanoi, witnessed by U.S. President Donald Trump and General Secretary and President of Vietnam Nguyen Phu Trong.

Boeing delivered the first 737 MAX 8 to Comair Limited, which becomes the first airline in sub-Sahara Africa to operate the fuel-efficient jet. The airplane is the first of eight 737 MAX airplanes on order for Comair as the airline looks to refresh its fleet and offer better service for its passengers.

Gulfstream G600
Gulfstream Aerospace Corp. announced its newest aircraft, the class-leading, award-winning Gulfstream G600, will make its Australian debut at the Australian International Airshow and Aerospace & Defence Exposition from Feb. 26 to March 3 in Geelong, Victoria. Joining the Gulfstream G600 on static display will be the high-performing Gulfstream G550 and the four-living-area, flagship Gulfstream G650ER.
Embraer A-29 Super Tucano
Embraer Defense & Security and its partner Sierra Nevada Corporation (SNC) were awarded a contract to deliver 12 A-29 Super Tucano light attack aircraft to the Nigerian Air Force.

Volotea, the airline of mid and small‐sized European cities, has carried 6.57 million passengers in 2018, up 36% in comparison to 4.82 million in 2017. The airline will operate in 83 airports which will be connected with 319 routes, 41 of them new destinations.
Embraer
Embraer delivered a total of 181 jets in 2018, of which 90 were commercial aircraft and 91 were executive jets (64 light and 27 large). The deliveries were within the outlook ranges for the year of 85 to 95 for the commercial aviation market, while business aviation market deliveries were below the 105 to 125 outlook.
Following a review of its operations, and in light of developments in aircraft and engine technologies, Emirates is reducing its A380 orderbook from 162 to 123 aircraft. Emirates will take delivery of 14 further A380s over the next two years. As a consequence and given the lack of order backlog with other airlines, Airbus will cease deliveries of the A380 in 2021.
