Tecnam P-VOLT project
After three years of intensive studies covering the entire lifecycle of an all-electric aircraft, Tecnam has concluded that the time for P-Volt is not yet ripe, although research activities will continue to explore new emerging technologies.
Air Tractor
In an effort to meet historic demand, Air Tractor airplanes will be produced with a modified paint scheme, offering customers standardized color options, reports Air Tractor President Jim Hirsch.
Boeing
Boeing is expanding its ecoDemonstrator flight-test program to further accelerate innovation for sustainability and safety. The company announced its 2023 plan to assess 19 technologies on the Boeing 777 ecoDemonstrator, while also adding «Explorer» airplanes that will focus tests on specific technologies.
During French President Macron’s visit to China, Airbus Helicopters has signed a contract with GDAT, one of China’s most prominent helicopter lessors and operators, for 50 H160 helicopters.
Pilatus Aircraft
The Spanish Air Force, Ejército del Aire, decided to purchase 24 PC-21s in early 2020. The final PC-21 of this order was delivered to Spain in mid-2022. The Spanish Air Force has now decided to buy another 16 PC-21s.
ACH 160 / Airbus
Airbus Corporate Helicopters has delivered the first example of the ACH160 Exclusive helicopter.

The Lockheed Martin VISTA X-62A, a one-of-a-kind training aircraft, was flown by an artificial intelligence agent for more than 17 hours recently, representing the first time AI engaged on a tactical aircraft.

Leonardo and Guardia di Finanza (Italy’s Police Force with general capability in economic and financial matters as well as the only maritime Police Force in Italy) celebrated today the delivery of the operator’s first AW169M light-intermediate twin engine helicopter in a special configuration featuring skids.
Boeing
Boeing and United Airlines announced the carrier is investing in its future fleet with an order for 100 787 airplanes, with the option to purchase 100 more. The deal is the largest 787 Dreamliner order in Boeing history. United is also purchasing 100 737 MAX jets, exercising 44 existing options and placing 56 new orders.
ORC (Oriental Air Bridge), Japanese regional airline, today took delivery of its first ATR 42-600 covered by an ATR Global Maintenance Agreement contract (GMA).
Market-leading aircraft manufacturer ATR and Silk Avia, Uzbekistan’s new regional airline, have signed Heads of Agreement (HOA) for the acquisition of five new ATR 72-600, three directly from ATR and two from a lessor. In addition to this agreement, the airline will soon start its operations with three used ATR 72-600.
Airbus
Based on its November deliveries of 68 commercial aircraft and the complex operating environment, Airbus SE considers its target to achieve “around 700” commercial aircraft deliveries in 2022 to now be out of reach. The final figure is not expected to fall materially short of the “around 700” delivery target.
Leonardo
Leonardo announced that Bristow Group has signed a contract to procure six AW139 intermediate twin engine helicopters to support the Second-Generation Search and Rescue Aviation («UKSAR2G») programme by the U.K. Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA).
Airbus
Airbus Helicopters and Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI) have delivered the first Light Civil Helicopter (LCH) to a local operator, Gloria Aviation, following certification in September this year.
